PM of NZ has a superb perspective on our hopelessly out of touch news media and their coverage of an incident north of Norseman.
The coverage is about on a par with the hopelessly inept reporting this morning from Samoa, where incompetent journalists, in there haste to concoct a negative story about John Key, can't even get a few basic facts right.

Absolutely marvelous coverage on the govt (can't make any sort of return on your capital) television company's news hour from a succession of breathless reporters who, thankfully, were live at the time.
I have hepled pm of NZ who appears to be in Dannevirke with some geographical info as he has Southern Star Abbey on the wrong road. However the area is very compact with the 3 roads (Kopua, Whenuahou and Otawhao) all running between SH2 and the Takapau Ormondville Road all within about 5ks.
Kate Taylor is much closer and while I do not know exactly where she lives she is probably ony a k or 2 from the cordon.
