Guess which party this came from

... it was not right to put pregnant 16 and 17-year-olds into council flats and leave them on their own. Instead those who were supported by the taxpayer would be "placed in a network of supervised homes", shared with others, to give them "a new start in life where they learn responsibility and how to raise their children properly".

What's your solution to the problem again Phil? I don't ever remembering hearing one from you.

The conservatives?

WAKE UP said...

This isn't a new idea, surely? I seem to remember some such thing being in place way back when.

Sus said...

Could be any of them, given that they're all socialist.

With the token nod to learning "responsibility" (ha!), I'd be inclined to guess the tories, too, Heine.

Gee, they're pathetic.

Gordon Brown, UK Labour Party

Heine said...

Hope not Zen, Labour has been letting teenage girls into council houses all the time. It is now a lifestyle choice for the young, unwed and chavvy.

'father', family? Hellooo...anyone there?

ZenTiger said...

Agreed Heine. He's actually only restating what most UK Councils now use Rates money for.

Big News said...

Actually the party this "came from" was the BNP, even though Gordon Brown said the comments...

sagenz said...

Zen is correct per BBC it is indeed Gordon Brown yesterday and Big News obviously reads Guido who notes that the same policy came from the BNP

Well the Catholics ran the same game in Ireland back last century so it appears the Catholics are wanting to be in charge again.

"Could be any of them, given that they're all socialist."

Or worse, Progressives. The real reason solo mothers and fatherless children are one of the country's only growth industries.

Barnsley Bill said...

It was the extreme left wing of the British labour party. You lot may know them as the BNP.
The one eyed, unelected closetted jock has reached the point of hysteria and has felched this policy for himself in the vain hope that enough Brits will vote for him next year so he can continue his fabian/ marxist inspired destruction of my England.

Redbaiter said...

"my England."

Jezuzz. WTF did you do to try and stop him? I'll tell you- nothing. The country that fought so bravely against totalitarianism when it was represented by bombs and cannons was defeated so completely by an enemy within who won by means of perverting the culture.

...and you Barnsley are as big a fan of that culture as any Marxist.

Heine said...

Yes, we are all marxists Red. We are here to take over and only you and your army can stop us :)

Redbaiter said...

Gee- your comprehnsion is so so bad Clint. I never said Barnsely was a Marxist. The allegation is that he has been an unwitting ally of the Marxists.

Sus said...

More to the point, what do *you* do, Red, except rant, rave and swear at all & sundry?

Seems to me the only thing left to do is to set up your own party. Tell you what .. I'll even name it for you: "The Anti-Progressives", seeing as they seem to be your number one beef.

Better get to work, eh?!

Redbaiter said...

"More to the point, what do *you* do, Red, except rant, rave and swear at all & sundry?"

That's a bit OT ain't it Suze??

..and swearing. Again.. oooh, golly gosh. Maybe you should go and write on Kiwipolitico, they get their knickers incredibly twisted over that there too.

What I'm trying to do here Suze is suggest that the problem of fatherless children and morbidly fat mothers who pop those children out like sausages from the meatworks is one that is never going to be fixed by Labour or National or The Conservatives or the Republicans or the democrats or ACT or (least of all) the Libertarians because the problem is an outcome of the Progressive ideas that everyone of those above parties subscribe to. (to differing degrees)

Sus said...

Oh, I know what you're *saying*, Red: you say the same damn thing all the time.

I'm asking - as you did of BB - what you're *doing* about it?

(Aside, that is, from ranting, raving & swearing!) :)

ps: you missed the Greens & the Maori in your list of anti-Christ Progs. I'd hate for them to get off scot-free!

The point of this is the recognition that taking feckless teenage girls in hand and stopping the creation of another generation of beneficiaries is the way forward and is now mainstream thinking. It might cost more in the very short term but the long term benefits are immense. Cutting the flow altogether is realistic but recognising that with taxpayer provided "rights" to benefits comes responsibilities

Redbaiter said...

"I'm asking - as you did of BB - what you're *doing* about it?"

I didn't ask him that. My question was past perfect tense and rhetorical, suggesting that he had most likely done nothing.

As for what I do about it- I seek to persuade the thinkers, and discredit the ideologues. And I do well at it, for in ten years I am well enough satisfied with what I have achieved on the net, given that when I first started writing, people would complain to my ISP merely because I called them leftists or socialists.

Nowadays, those complainers have no chance of hiding from that label by pretending to be mainstream, and the term is commonplace.

Now I start a new mission, and it is to fight the Progressives in the same way I fought the redistributionists. And I will persuade people to join me, as I was able to in my previous battle. That's what I'm doing Suze.

Heine said...

Sage, I agree completely. Goodness knows there hasn't been any leadership in this issue for a very long time.

Red..good luck with your quest to purge all Progressives.

Redbaiter said...

Red..good luck with your quest to purge all Progressives.

Thanks. Whats it like to be one of the first purgees?

Heine said...

Pfft, I might have to line up with every other right winger in the country... what side are you on again?

Redbaiter said...

"Pfft, I might have to line up with every other right winger in the country..."

No wonder really, that if you and your mates are what passes for "right wing" in NZ, we're all living in a clapped out racist socialist amoral rust bucket of a country that very day draws closer to the same sorry fate suffered by the Soviet Union.

Well done Clint. You really showed those lefties how to do it.

Heine said...

I don't live in NZ Red mate, and I really doubt you have ever visited a real Communist country.

Remind me again who you speak on behalf of?

Redbaiter said...

"Remind me again who you speak on behalf of?"

Myself Clint. Once again, I don't need any imaginary crowd of mindless cheering acolytes to underpin my opinions like you and the dimbulbs over at NOT PC.

Such insecurity reveals the obsessive mindset that is really a Progressive personality trait. Just like the dullest little whitebait in the group, you can't swim anywhere unless the shoal is first going there too.

I say what I think is right and I do not care whether it meets the glowing approval of a country of brainwashed progressives and socialists or not.

That's being an individual Clint. Something you obviously need to read about. Although given your abysmal comprehension skills and your obvious inability to stick to any one issue for longer than ten seconds, I'm not sure reading will be any help. (ADD is it?)

Funny how on another thread you were regaling me with your claims to have fought long and hard against the left, and now you're suddenly saying you don't live in NZ, as if that excuses you from the so called right's abject failures of the last four or five decades or longer.

So did you fight or didn't you? Do you take responsibility for NZ's slide into a poverty stricken crime ridden racist and amoral disgrace for a country, where our public institutions and our education systems and our media and our local and central bureaucracy are all extensions of socialist progressive political concepts or not?

Whatever you did in the past Clint, I reckon you're just going to go on being a progressive whitebait, swimming happily and blindly with the others in your shoal in the poisonous sewer you have made of NZ society. Flitting wherever the next capricious little thought takes you.

Telling all who will listen that you're a freedom fighter when every day more of our freedoms disappear and you can't stop it happening and you wonder why you can't, and I'm trying to tell you why you can't, but your brain is so damaged by the Trojan horse of Progressive thinking you cannot even hear or understand what I am saying.

Go away and think about why you have failed so miserably in your 'fight' Clint.

(Oh, that's if you were even in the country. Don't forget to clear that little misunderstanding up)
