Gooner the guy was a pedophile. Get it? An interferer with children. Your double standards are appalling. Gacy the serial murderer was a passable artist, want to celebrate him? Get over your hero worship of one of the truly nasty shits in the world. He used his money to build playground to attract kids. Here is what gets me so angry, if he was not a famous pop star (with questionable credentials as a muso - remember Milli Vanilli , Britany and the like sells or sold millions of records as well) you people would be jumping for joy. But because you like his music it was okay to mess with kids.

Apologies, Gooner - didn't realise any of the other authors gave a toss about Michael Jackson. I always thought of him more as mentally ill than a kiddy-fiddler - not that being a kiddy-fiddler would have put me off if I'd liked his music. I still like Gary Glitter and he's well dodgy.

To clarify: MJ was acquitted on all criminal charges which, in my opinion, were a bit of a beat(it)-up. He is weird, undoubtedly. But being weird and being in the entertainment industry virtually run hand in hand. It's part of the "artists" brand and each artist has to differentiate him/herself. I doubt Jackson had sex with children mainly because I doubt he would have liked sex full stop, notwithstanding all his girating and crotch touching.
And Bok, I'm glad you didn't take that personally. It was the Robinsod "pig-fucker" defence. I can elaborate but I'm sure you get it. And I am also a Freddie Mercury fan too - I can relay the entire words of "Bohemian Rhapsody" in one fowl swoop!
