Another Zealot Bites The Dust

The demented damsel who has headed the Commerce Commission is to step down.

In Adolf's view Paula Rebstock has been a disaster for New Zealand. This bloated white wahine has overseen the decline of the Commerce Commission from a genuine vehicle for consumer protection into an ineffectual ideological protector of academic competition theory - coincidentally during the reign of a Labour government which was totally ideologically driven, when it was not being pushed or pulled by opinion polls.

There can be no better example than the Commission's blocking of a merger between Qantas and Air New Zealand. You would have thought there was no other airline operating across the Tasman.

Where was she when Mark Bryers and his mob were ripping of Kiwis left right and centre? Nowhere to be seen.

Where was she when Bridgecorp was making whoopee? Nowhere to be seen.

Good riddance.

(b) Lying
(c) being slippery
(d) all of the above

Whichever, you'd have to agree, wouldn't you, that Mr Power'

BNZ stopped lending for Blue Chip products about 4 yrs before it folded.

The housing boom was Labour’s sacred cow the Commerce commission were not going to touch that.

And Power clearly knows how bad the employment laws are for getting rid of poor performing managers. It is a whole new language.

Precisely. That's how you do it.

Harp on, its a sign of the new political landscape: refraining from saying things like "rich prick" and "we won you lost" etc.
That's why Joh John Key wished Hulun well in her attempt to suck at the UN tit. He could just as easily say "piss off you odious bitch and don't come back", but he is a nicer bloke than that.

Good riddance. One less of the many Clark's sycophants in important positions.

You have to watch very carefully the women that are placed in positions of power. They always turn out to be the absolute best or the absolute worst. I don't know why this is so but it is.
