I think only banks should be the only organs seeking such stimulation, and I have a few doubts there at the extent of them.
But if he pops out another, I think Gordon will be well and truly buggered!!

Once you start, where do you stop?
I'd like to think Larry Flynt was joking to illustrate the absurdity of the situation, but he's exactly right. Once you start bailing people out, what's to stop everyone else asking for some. Banks, then highly inefficient manufacturers... why not the porn industry? Why not the junk mail industry? Why are some industries favoured over others? Why penalise healthy, well-run companies by propping up their badly-run competitors? Seems stupidity knows no bounds...
