The Gaza situation

A picture (or cartoon in this case) tells a thousand words.

Well spotted BB.
Indeed, while the BBC and others seem keen to uncover any atrocity concerning the Israelis and children, they seem most timid to report on how Hamas exploits children.

Have you seen the complete breakdown Old Holborn has had over Gaza? Looks like he has gone pop and taken Obnoxio down with him..

And that particular Viva is not a typical example. It should be rusty with faded paint and hubcaps missing.

One pictures a million and a half Israelis crammed into a small enclave around Tel Aviv and the Arabs shelling it with 155mm howitzers. One pictures the Arab press full of cartoons sneering at the Israelis for using their children as human shields. One struggles to picture Barnsley Bill reproducing those cartoons with his approval...

For an idea of how this "human shields" bollocks actually works, here's the UN:

According to testimonies gathered by the UN, Israeli soldiers evacuated about 110 Palestinians to a single-storey house in Zeitoun. The evacuees were instructed to stay indoors for their safety but 24 hours later the Israeli army shelled the house. About half the Palestinians sheltering in the house were children, OCHA said. The report also complains that the Israeli Defence Force prevented medical teams from entering the area to evacuate the wounded.

"According to testimonies gathered by the UN.."
The U.N. has no credibility. None.Zero. Nada.
That'd be the same U.N. that placed Zimbabwe at the head of some Human Rights Commission.(after Libya had a turn). That stood idly by during at least a couple of genocides. That turned a blind eye for years to U.N. troops raping and looting. That passed a resolution condemning Israel for the murder of a small boy in Gaza based on a concoction by a French television crew.
That has passed endless resolutions condemning Israel, while ignoring grievous human rights abuses by North Korea, Zimbabwe, Sudan and various Arab countries.
That ignored the fact that Palestinians were using ambulances to transport munitions.
That instructed 'peacekeepers" along the border with Lebanon to ignore the activities of Hezbollah....
That has passed countless resolutions condemning Israel and --to my knowledge--not one condemning Arab countries.
The list goes on and would fill several pages.
Only a fool quotes the useless, corrupt and deeply anti-Jewish U.N.as a reputable source.

Uh, right - anti-Semites in the UN blatantly lying to the media is so much more likely to account for this than poor communication between units of the IDF...
