Pansy Wong is obviously very concerned about Kenneth Wang's challenge in Botany as she has decided to complain to the Electoral Commission over those billboards. Of course any halfwit knows that the words are not encouraging a vote for Pansy or National, rather it is a message about MMP. Indeed, why would Kenneth encourage a vote for National! He's trying to get people to vote for him and ACT.
Pansy has every right to be worried. I'm picking a second electorate for ACT come November 8 and Pansy will be a list MP.
Now you all might 'pooh pooh' this, but no one gave Rodney any chance in Epsom in 2005 yet ACT delivered. I campaigned in the electorate during 2005 and it was obvious Rodney would win.
It is becoming more obvious by the day that Kenneth will win. Pansy's panicking confirms this.
She knows, I know and soon the fine people of Botany will know.

Gooner, am I right in thinking that if Act takes the seat, Pansy Wong will still win through her list placing.
It seems the bright people of Botany should give their electorate vote to Wang.
You are 100% correct FFM.
If Kenneth wins this I'll crack open a beer or two in celebration.
Fingers crossed...
Pansy obviously has too much time on her hands if she thinks that this is going to solve anything.
I wasn't so convinced that ACT should be going for other electorates unless they were a certainty.... but now I am fully behind Wang. Go get her!
Absolutely right. It is to National's advantage to lose this seat to Act, just as it is to their advantage to lose East Coast Bays to The Family Party (also a likely proposition where we are pushing the 2 for 1 message). Act and Family are the two parties that National could most easily work with post-election, and the reality is that they will need coalition partners. I have no idea why they would even consider actively contending these electorate seats, all they need is the party vote. Sure they may feel they have to run a candidate for appearances sake, but to actually make complaints like this is ridiculous.
what is the Family Party? Is that Gordon's ego-posse?
I'm in the Botany electorate. I thought I'd made my mind up to party vote Act and electorate vote National, but Pansy Wong's complaint annoyed me so it'll probably be Act both ways now.
