Yet more government waste

The government is accused of wasting 'millions of dollars' taxpayers money training real estate agents we don't need.
Indeed, considering the state of the property market there must be thousands and thousands of them surplus to requirements, so we really don't need to train anymore.
Come to think of it, there are far too many journalists chasing too few jobs. There are only so many communications people the MSD can take as well. Looks like the journalism courses need cutting or closing too.
Indeed, does government spend far too much on tertiary education, making our youngsters overqualified that a degree offers little value overall, though it gives receipients so much debt in the process?

There was an crucial report on the CIS pointing out that NZ really only needs one university (Auckland) and that basically the rest of it is just churning out people that are expensive inefficient workers who have cost taxpayers (as well as themselves) billions to educate

billions of my fucking taxes.

And don't forget the taxpayer funded "Industry Training Organisations".
Most of them consume far more than they produce. And most of them know it in their hearts, too.
