Sarah Palin caption contest

Bill Clinton thinks she's hot, but what about this great photo?

Alas, it looks as real as Uncle Helen's elections shots.

Either way, let's have a caption contest.

I'll start off with-

'But Barry, you're not even fit enough to lick them!"

"Whose the bitch now?"

I did post a sarcastic comment earlier, but had to delete it - it became clear that no comment, no matter how stupidly offensive, could reasonably be identified as ironic in such an ugly stream of shit.

Assuming my first comment was included in that description...
so historical facts are now an "ugly stream of shit" eh?

PM dropped the N bomb then felt all ashamed and withdraw.

What a shocker, not.

OECD rank 22 kiwi said...

The only "ugly stream of shit" is that which is flowing from Hels lips day after day.

But Labour like to get down and dirty.

PM dropped the N bomb then felt all ashamed and withdraw.

No, PM attempted to point out to you wingnuts the racist intent of the picture Fairfacts has posted here (I can only hope through naivety rather than anything else), then realised it was pointless.

But just so you don't get to feel like I am feeling ashamed and withdrawing, I'll point it out again: this photo is a racist joke about Republicans putting the Niggers back where they belong. If you like, I'll do you all the favour of assuming you're too stupid to figure that out, rather than assuming you endorse the sentiments.

PS: the past tense of 'withdraw' is 'withdrew.'

Psycho Milt said...

And "Whose the bitch" is "Who's the bitch" for people who can read and write.

Love it when people resort to correcting other people's spelling.

Smells like....victory.

PM, I care not for the colour of Obama's skin.
Religion, yes, but not his skin.
I have seen many shoeshine people of varioius ethnic origins, including white.
In fact, I would say I have seen many white shoe shiners, more so than black ones.
And if you visit an Asian country, the shoe shine boys are Asian.
So any alleged racism is something you have dreamt up.
Considering the Republicans have fine 'people of colour' such as Colin Powell and Condi Rice , I doubt the Republicans are attacking Obama on race.
Other than Theo Spark, I don't know where this picture came from. What proof/evidence do you have it is from the Republicans?
Indeed, it seems to be the left that are playing the race card , implying if you don't vote for Obama , you are a racist.
I am sure one day the right candidate of colour will turn up.
But Obama is not the one.
He is a leftist lightweight with very dodgy views and very dodgy connections.
I just enjoyed the pic of seeing such a jumped up prick, who sees himself as the Messiah, in such a humiliating position, especially cleaning the shoes of the one the left despise the most- Sarah Palin.
Someone who the Democrats have sought to smear , a successful , independent woman, whom should be one of them, according to leftist groupthink, but has a brain to think for herself, and reject the leftism of the Donks.

"who sees himself as the Messiah"

Not sure that's correct. I think it is about 25% of the US voters. It happenes to include 95% of the press and media, though. Another 23 to 24% of the electorate will vote for ANYONE that the donks put forward, like 35% will vote Liarbore no matter what.

Pyscho, why do you say it is a racist photo? I think that may be PC bullshit interpretation. If it were Clinton cleaning Palin's boots, would you think that were sexist?

Clunking Fist said...

Of course I meant MRS Clinton: if it were MISTER Clinton, we'd know that he VOLUNTEERED to clean her shoes so that he could look up her skirt...

I guess if your main news source is the Shire News then racist drivel like this must seem amusing.

Fairfacts, I can't decide if you're being naive or disingenuous. I hope it's naive.

For the record: the race of shoe-shine boys in Asia or what you think of Obama is irrelevant. At issue here is what an American intends you to understand when he issues a photo of a Black man shining Whitey's shoes. The rest is extraneous bullshit.

Slightly off the topic focus but..
The only time someone has tried to contract to shine my shoes was on the Manhattan ferry. He was white and obviously of Irish extract. He told me he gave the best shine in town, the best. I declined.

My wife gave me a mini lecture on American enterprise and told me not to be so awkward and stilted blah blah.

The fact I was wearing light sand coloured suede desert boots escaped them both.

His only tools were a stool, a footstool, black and brown nugget and polishing rags

ISeeRed said...

PM, so you used the word "nigger"? But it was meant as sarcasm, so that made it OK? So much for the "post-racial" candidate if his skin colour is all you see. Racism is certainly in the "eye"(-dee-o-lo-gee) of the beholder.

Adolf Fiinkensein said...

Anon, you racist prick! You used the "n" word. Nugget. Don't you know that's a derivtive of Nigger? Wash your mouth out.

The acceptasble term is 'polish'

Oh fuck! Now I've got the Nuggetski brigade chasing after me with sabres swinging. Gotta go.

Maybe I was naive in not seeing any racism in the pic, potential or otherwise.
Though others obviously see racism where it may or may not exist.
I would love to post a similar pic of Uncle Helen cleaning John Boy's shoes.
But I guess I would be accused of sexism and misogyny then.
Obviously, such a pic might need a little more touching up than sticking fresh heads on the photo.
While Helen obviously likes to wear the trousers, I just cannot see John Key in a skirt and stilettos.

Adolph, You're right. I just hate myself

A thought crime if ever there was one.

I shall purge myself.

Please forward all mail to my Gulag and note my new serial number tattoo on the outside of
of all IRD correspondance.

Hmmm...the real problem here is the subtext, which is that we all know that the old saw about a photo never lying has been turned on its head - now a photo cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

Thus, despite the ribaldry, we are all a little uncomfortable with this one... Wonder what the reactions would have been if it had been a cartoon instead of a photoshop?

I'm tending towards Milt on this one; in the end, I think the level on which it has been created and pitched is below the level at which we should be conducting the presidential debate.

What about Winston Peters rubbing the shoes of Tariana Turoa then?

We'll try and find something serious to say about the US elections pretty soon.

WAKE UP said...

Appreciate your tongue-in-cheekiness there FFM :)

Of course there's only one thing to say about the US election: may John McCain win, hands down!
