In place of the 'missing' poll, the Tumeke! rankings!!!

I was hoping for more good news in the much rumoured TV3 TNS poll, that was reportedly due out today.
But instead, Tim Selwyn delivered the glad tidings, with the latest Tumeke! rankings. The top 20 is out today, the rest are due tomorrow.
No Minister has continued its good progress, rising one to number six, in place of Peter Cresswell's Not PC, who slipped one to 7.
We are just behind Whale Oil, who dropped one to 5, as Frogblog rose one to 4. The Standard remains at 3, Public Address at 2 and Kiwiblog at 1.
The big mover is the highest new entry, at 14, Policynet featuring Chris Trotter and Matthew Hooton. No word on Roar Prawn yet, but I would hope that wonderful blog gets a 20-something ranking. Certainly recent Alexia rankings are strong for this other newcomer.
Homepaddock is deservedly up 4 to 12, the entertaining Dim-Post is up 3 to 16, Radical Crossstitch and Jafapete are also big risers at 19 and 20.
Those slipping down the rankings slightly slightly include Poneke, Keeping Stock and Cactus Kate.
Thanks again to Tim for his hard work. I can only hope, as Zentiger suggested, someone can whip up some software to make the job easier or him.
And let us hope we can have another list a month from now.
How will the election campaign affect things? I would hope and expect that the recent revelations from Whale Oil, RoarPrawn, and The Hive will also boost their rankings in the weeks ahead.

Congratulations To DPF and Whale Oil for maintaining there first and second status in the solo blog rankings, and well done No Minister for being the number 1 group blog in the country.
These placings are based upon these bloggers being independent non waged bloggers of course.
3 is funded, 4 may not have originally been funded but Brown most certainly is now and the greens is run from their office.
So the top 3 sites that can genuinely call themselves a blog are right leaning.
Nice.
FFM, I am proud in a small way to have contributed to your success by not beating the crap out of you for pinching my best posts.

Yes BB, you are getting bloody good at finding some great stuff and I appreciate your support and help.
And I'll buy you a drnk or hree next time we met up.
Your point about sole bloggers acting by themselves and without taxpayer/union/party support is worth noting too.
While the Standard is getting the audience now (how much through union/Labour promotion, I wonder), it is oo tied to Liarbour to have offer the same valued contribution as Kiwiblog and WhaleOil.
If John Key stuffs up, they will say it.
But I cannot ever imagine Th Standard ever criticising Dear Leader while she reman in office.

They are a 9 to 5 monday to friday blog. Have a look this evening how the comments have become really loose without the waged Leftards to direct the traffic.

Yes, the lack of lefty postings outside office hours is significant and speaks volumes.

Now, I've just been over to Oswald Bastable and I see he has a post from Devil's Kitchen.
I read that earlier today too nd thought about stealing it.

BB, you have revolutionised the Kiwi blogosphere by introducing quite a few Kiwi bloggers to a most interesting selection of right-wing British bloggers.

I have noted from the Alexia rankings that No Minister has gained a British following.
I m sure Barnsley Bill will have too and Oswald will start getting one as well.

Congratulations, imagine where you might have been had you not been blocked from Minsitry sites :)

Indeed Homepaddock, but hopefully the publicity the ban generated might help make up for it next time.

A lot of the UK traffic is because of the links Theo kindly put up. Plus I comment a lot on around a dozen brit blogs.
Might I suggest you have a look at tuscan tony, a brit based in tuscany.
Link at my place.

I was reading Tuscan Tony earlier tonight.
He has a thing for the ladies too, just like Theo.
Well it is his private space.

Maybe No Minister might have its totty. As long as they have some clothes on, MailMarshal won't mind.

Shortly after midnight a post will appear on the No Minister banning debacle.
