Kiwi cost of living shocker

Reflecting the Economist's Big Mac index, which I posted on Monday, a new survey shows New Zealand growing increasingly expensive.
The costs of housing, rent and food have been singled out in the 2008 Mercer Cost of Living survey.
It just adds to what I recently said too. While our living costs rise, wages stay pretty much as they are, with our standard of loving falling either in absolute or relative terms.
And as Lou notes today, with the dollar falling, the cost of imports, like petrol, will rise further too.
Well done Liarbour!

Maybe I should Lou.
There's much deprivation there also.

You wouldn't want that coffee in Hong Kong. Something the Chinese are yet to master.
