Stars in Their Eyes

If any evidence was needed that the voting public is not totally stupid then last night's finale was gratifyingly accurate.

Thank goodness Billy Joel won. He was by far the best.

Now there is one other thing the voting public has to get right this year: Act needs 10% of the Party Vote!

Was that a spoiler? It has certainly ruined the top of No Minister, quick get another post up. One rainbow tory on this blog is enough without Finsbury Park going all light on his feet as well.

Evening Roger.
Just off to bed now.
But I can see Gooner's 6am post will contain references to Tony Milne.

Thought I would stick to part of the topic.

ACT with 10% of the vote would be fantastic. Even 6% or 7% would see things happen for the good of the country.

As a parent of 2 young(ish) children I have been researching the likely implications of ACT'S education policy, were this country bold enough to see it implemented. All I can say is that evidence suggests it would transform educational outcomes for everyone, including those not getting what they need from the current state run system. ACT at 10%? Bring it on. I want their education vision, and I want it now!!

You watch that stuff, I mean, seriously, you watch that stuff ??!*?

Which part of talentless mindless drivel do they miss out on ?

ACT at 10%?

No! ACT should be at 30 or 40%, and Labour Lite should have the other 40%, with 20% for NZF and United etc.

That is what a democratic election would produce in New Zealand.

Considering how Rodney Hide appeared on Stars With their eyes to gain profile, no wonder Gooner is referring to this programme.
Obviously Heather is an Uptown Girl, but I cannot think which Billy Joel song might refer to Rodney or Roger.
But I though he might have better taste in televesion.

Now, I saw Rodney on tv's Close Up last night and while I have had misgivings about his showbiz antics, he is exposing himself to a whole new audience and people do love Rodney when they see him.
