Liarbour's failure on crime

It's not just shocking incidents like the murder of the bottle store owner that highlights the failure of Liarbour on crime.
It's not just Police Minister Annette King blaming summer crime on hot weather and a full moon.
But also how police are responding to the growing plague of violent crime.
The NZ Herald notes how police are planning armed patrols in Auckland.
Of course, it might help if police were also diverted from revenue gathering duties too.
But considering how often the police seem to get things wrong, can they be trusted with guns?
Liarbour has failed big time if armed police are now necessary to keep police on the streets!

"Armed police" is a Weapon of Mass Distraction by Police HQ to take attention away from: [a] their failure to address crime in S Auckland and [b] the fact they allowed the Sikh liquor store manager to die by refusing access to paramedics.

Armed police: the inevitable ambulance at the bottom of a cliff that government policy has built in the first place.
