The apple core

I am begining to get the feeling that around 35% is Labour's core support.

These people will vote for Helen come Hell or high water.

60% of the population will be moving on with their lives after the next election, (I know that only adds up to 95% but in my book the 5% Green bullshitters don't count.) but these people will be stuck in some weird time warp where they still grasp onto the failed ideology of last century. They should wake up to the realities of this century.

There will be enough new threats and difficulties facing New Zealand this century without having to deal to the remnants of Helen's failed socialist state.

How many voters live in households that receive benefits? At a guess it might be close to 30%.
The other 5% may be explained by households containing a union delegate or shop steward.

Why is why National these people should never again have the right to vote, and why Labour and the Greens and Unions should be banned.

Actually Union Membership is about 15%. Welfare for Families is up around 40%. What this means is that there must be at least 5% of people who are on Welfare but are not voting Labour or Green (probably because they are too stupid to notice).

THe long-term reform is simple: no representation without taxation

If you get a benefit, or a government salary, you don't get a vote

No taxation without representation is a great principle. The other way round just removes the vote from all stay-at-home moms, most of the disabled and most of the retired.

Any other criteria you'd like to introduce? No votes for women? Unionists? Asians? Jews?

Nazi.

At least this election will reveal exactly what the bedrock support level is, which will be interesting.

It's hard to think of more perfect conditions to reveal the absolute core of lefty voters who won't change their minds no matter what.

Excellent.

and your problem is?

retired who have private incomes will still have the vote (they are still taxed!). And you are the clear implying the differently-abled won't be paying tax, which frankly I find totally disgusting

Certainly Unionists should not have the vote; neither should terrorists or murderers - the should be in jail. But women who pay tax: sure.
Ditto Asians and Jews. I'd much rather have the votes of 100,000 hardworking Asian residents, and 1,000 high-net-worth Jewish immigrants,
than any number of votes from bludgers of whatever ethnicity or political persuasion.
